Charles William Lawrence ( 1925 - 1986 )

Charles William Lawrence 1925 - 1986, the son of John Parker and Elizabeth Lawrence - J & H's great-uncle. A charismatic character who served in Britains No.2 Commando stationed in Italy at the end of WWII which led to his love of all things Italian including Italian food. Although a rugged individual, due to his easy going generous nature he was adored by many, including children, who he always treated as equals, no matter what age, - a real east-end diamond.
